Fever, 1998

Produced and Directed by Paula M. Froehle

Fever is based on a poem about motherhood, responsibility and the illusion of control. Optically printed on my Hollywood Products 35mm optical printer, the film took two years to construct – back-breaking labor that has since been replaced by the computer. I will always love the hand-made process of optical printing.
