The Show Must Go On: An Intimate Portrait of The Flying Wallendas In Post Production - Spring 2010
Produced by Wenhwa Ts'ao Directed by Paula M. Froehle Edited by Ai Lene Chor
The Show Must Go On explores the unique familial bond that exists within the Wallenda clan, despite the true risks of their dangerous highwire act, and the economic reality that threatens their livelihood.
Perhaps one of the most famous circus families in America, The Flying Wallendas have performed their highwire stunts without a net for eight generations. Guinness Book of World Records holders, and recipients of the coveted Golden Lion in Monte Carlo, this family continues to hone its skills and develop its artistry on the same rigs and with the same apparatus as their famous grandfather, Karl Wallenda did, some 80 years prior.
